Brand Identity for a Coffee Shop
My idea for a coffee shop based in Mexico. I named it "Zoquipa" based on the street my grandparents lived and the mascot illustration on the kinds of dogs you might run into there, a Xolo. I wanted a blocky imperfect wordmark as the logo, a s if it was hand-painted, contrasted with a monospaced typeface to make it feel more modern. I chose a rich ultramarine blue as the main color, often with a spray-painted effect to maintain the handmade feel of the brand.
